This page includes all upcoming and past opportunities for the public to get involved in Waterville’s NY Forward program. Please note that all LPC meetings are open to the public and time will be reserved for public comment at the end of each LPC meeting.
For each public event and Local Planning Committee (LPC) meeting, meeting summaries, presentations, and agendas will be prepared and made available on this page as they are completed.

Project Financing Webinar
This webinar is for project sponsors and goes over financing on projects in a Q&A format. Key topics include strategies that can be incorporated into NYF projects to enhance project readiness.

Public Workshop #1
Join us for Waterville’s first public workshop for its NY Forward program. This workshop will be structured as an open house, so drop in anytime between 4:00PM and 8:00PM. At this workshop, you will:
Learn about Waterville’s NY Forward program;
Identify issues and opportunities for improvement in Waterville’s NY Forward Area;
Meet with the project team; and,
Receive technical assistance with your Open Call for Project Proposals application.
LPC Meeting #2
This second LPC meeting includes a visioning activity with the LPC, a review of past plans and recent investment in downtown Waterville, an update on the Open Call For Project Proposals, a discussion on the project evaluation process, and preparation for the first public workshop.
All LPC meetings are open to the public; however the extent of public participation is largely dependent on the purpose and structure of each individual LPC meeting. Every meeting will allow time for public comment at the end.
LPC Meeting #1
The first LPC meeting will provide an overview of the NY Forward planning process, define roles and responsibilities, present upcoming public engagement opportunities, and facilitate a discussion of the LPC’s vision and goals for the NY Forward area.
All LPC meetings are open to the public; however the extent of public participation is largely dependent on the purpose and structure of each individual LPC meeting. Every meeting will allow time for public comment at the end.
